I've spent the majority of my life recovering from injuries that stemmed from a thirst for action, adventure, and sports. My focus on well-being led me to a career helping others become healthy, fit, and injury free.
I am an adventurer and athlete. I cannot sit still to save my life. I grew up in the Bay Area and started playing sports at a young age. Early on, I found a passion for soccer, and that has taken me all over the world as both a player and fan.
My excitement for action and competitiveness on the field, for better or worse, resulted in several injuries and surgeries during my teens and early 20's. Name any joint in the body, and I can tell you a story about an injury or accident. By the time I finished playing college soccer, my body was wrecked. During my experiences with recovery, I visited almost every health professional you can think of: sports doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists (and the list goes on).
Throughout the process of rehabbing and getting back into athletics, I learned a significant amount about anatomy, alignment, and functional training. I started to become more interested in health and fitness, and after meeting some helpful healers along the way, I was inspired to go on the path of helping others regain their health and perform better.
In addition to testing my own fitness and movement capabilities during my spare time, I enjoy exploring new hiking trails, experimenting with different recipes, playing pickup sports, learning about all health things related, and watching FC Barcelona and the Golden State Warriors. I am also obsessed with dark chocolate.
